Ras el hanout is a complex blend of hot-sweet spices. The name roughly translates as ‘best in the shop’ – as shop keepers would make their own prized blends using the best ingredients they had. This Ras el hanout uses a wide range of ingredients from savoury coriander through to aromatic kaffir lime and floral-scented rose petals.
