This pack contains 113g of high quality dried konbu seaweed sheets. Background Konbu is a Japanese seaweed that is full of rich umami flavour and one of the main ingredients for making dashi stock. This is due to the large amount of glutamic acid which gives it that delicious savoury taste.

How To Use Konbu:
Seaweed is most commonly used for making dashi.
• Heat up a sheet of konbu in a pan until just before boiling.
• Remove the heat and add a handful of katsuobushi bonito flakes.
• Strain the ingredients and the remaining water can be used as dashi stock.
• You can eat the konbu afterwards.
