Bocconcini - small piece of mozzarella cheese; the size of a small hard-boiled egg.
Made using pasteurised cows milk.
Originated in Naples.
Can be served on pizza or pasta, tossed in chopped herbs with extra virgin olive oil, or used in canapes and salads.
