Red Leg is named after a type of crab that is native to the coral reefs of the Caribbean. It is infused with ginger and vanilla before it is rested in oak casks to round out and marry the spicy flavours.
The taste profile is similar to the old recipe Sailor Jerry rum - which some spiced rum lovers will remember and still have fond memories of!
Nose: An instantly sweet smell of vanilla, followed by warming ginger aroma.
Taste: Initial sweetness on the pallet, followed by a bite of ginger. Refreshingly, satisfying combination of sweet and spice with a warming mouth feel.
Serve: Perfect served over ice with a splash of cola and a twist of lemon
